Restoration Millwork Specialty Interior PVC Trim is cellular PVC moulding stock for interior applications where moisture is a recurring problem — bathrooms, laundry rooms, basement finishes, mudrooms, and commercial spaces where painted wood trim deteriorates within a few years. Seven profiles cover the core interior trim categories: baseboard, door and window casing, and cove moulding — enough to complete an interior trim package from a single product line.
The cellular PVC construction means these profiles will not warp, swell, split, or stain regardless of moisture exposure. They install identically to standard wood moulding using conventional nail guns, adhesives, and coped or mitered joints. The surface accepts paint without priming, with no grain bleed-through or tannin staining. For contractors regularly finishing below-grade or high-humidity spaces, specifying interior PVC trim dramatically reduces callbacks for buckled or stained trim.

Installation Guide
Installs with standard woodworking tools — saw, nail gun, miter box
Use PVC cement for all mitre and scarf joints to manage expansion/contraction
Recommended adhesives: Extreme PVC Trim Welder® or Partite® Adhesive
Nail or screw directly to studs or blocking — pre-drill near ends to prevent splitting
Leave 1/8" expansion gap at all butt joints; caulk with paintable latex after installation
Clean cuts with fine-tooth carbide blade; sand lightly for tight fits
Prime all cut ends and field-applied paint with 100% acrylic latex for best adhesion
