Restoration Millwork® PVC Brickmould by CertainTeed delivers a low-maintenance alternative to painted wood for framing windows and entranceways. Available in three SKUs across two profile shapes — a standard Unpainted Brickmould (1" × 1-1/4" × 17') and a J-Channel Brickmould in both 17-1/2' and 7' lengths — the J-Channel variant integrates cleanly with siding edges. All profiles feature FinishedEdge™ heat-sealed edges, TrueTexture™ woodgrain finish, and a smooth reverse side. They install with standard woodworking tools, ship natural white, and accept paint to match any exterior colour scheme. Class A Flame Spread rated, ICC and CCMC compliant, and backed by a 25-year limited warranty.

About Restoration Millwork® PVC Brickmould

Restoration Millwork PVC Brickmould is a cellular PVC exterior casing profile milled to standard residential brickmould dimensions for direct replacement of wood brickmould around windows, entry doors, and patio doors. The profile seats flat against the window frame and siding without shimming or site modification, compatible with standard exterior caulking and siding accessories.

Wood brickmould is one of the fastest-failing trim elements on a residential exterior — paint peels at the overlap with siding, moisture gets behind the profile, and nail holes open up as the wood expands and contracts with the seasons. Cellular PVC brickmould has none of those failure modes: UV-resistant, won't absorb water, won't rot or split, and holds paint at nail and joint lines without the repeated maintenance cycles that wood demands. Available in standard lengths, factory-white, accepts paint without priming.

Installation Guide

Use PVC cement for all mitre and scarf joints to control expansion and contraction
Recommended adhesives: Extreme PVC Trim Welder® or Partite® Adhesive
