Can be installed horizontally or vertically on walls or ceilings.
Panels must move freely side to side — do not force when fastening.
Push panel until the lock is fully engaged with the adjacent piece before fastening.
Fasten in the center of the nailing slot; fasteners must penetrate at least 1" (24mm) into backing material.
Allow ~1/16" clearance between fastener head and panel to permit expansion and contraction.
Leave 1/4" clearance at all openings for normal expansion and contraction.
Maximum fastener spacing: 24" on center; 4" from panel ends.
Do not face-nail or staple through panels — face-nailing causes rippling.
Caulk at inside corners, outside corners, and J-trim. Do not caulk overlap joints.
When installing on both walls and ceiling, install wall panels before ceiling panels.
Start at the bottom with Base Trim or J-Channel; install corner trim, then proceed with panel installation.
If J-channel is used at the base, drill 1/4" holes along the bottom every 16" on center for drainage.
Vapor barrier is recommended; consult local building code for requirements.
