Where can you buy Kaycan siding in Ontario?

Can homeowners buy Kaycan products from Pro Materials?

Yes. We sell wholesale and retail, so a homeowner buying Kaycan siding, soffit or eavestrough for one house orders at the same Newmarket counter as a contractor buying for a subdivision. Bring the wall measurements or the elevation, and the product line and colour if you have chosen them, and we will work out the order with you.

How many Kaycan siding colours are there?

Across the Kaycan products we stock the palette runs to 252 colour SKUs, or 118 distinct colour names once the same shade appearing on several lines is counted once. Perfection Shingles leads at 28, the aluminum soffit carries 22, Prova has 19, Timberlake 18 and Board and Batten Vertical 17. The five horizontal vinyl lines cover 39 distinct colours between them and the three vertical lines add 25. Not every colour is available in every profile, so confirm the combination before ordering.

What Kaycan aluminum siding does Pro Materials stock?

All three Kaycan aluminum wall systems, and they answer three different briefs. LYNX is the architectural one, an extruded panel with an acrylic wood look face in 7 colours, carrying a 25-Year Finish and 50-Year Product warranty. Urbanix is the volume panel and the broadest palette of the three at 13 colours. Alu-Composite S-100 is a composite panel in 10 colours with a PVDF KYNAR 500 finish under a 20-Year Finish Warranty. Which Kaycan vinyl siding line should you spec?

It depends on what the wall has to survive and how wide a colour choice you need. Richmond is the heavy gauge answer at 0.050 inch with 25-Year Fade Resistance on top of the Limited Lifetime Warranty. Timberlake is the range answer, 18 colours across eight profiles. Prova gives you 19 colours in one Dutch lap profile at 0.048 inch. Hardwood Valley II is the wood grain look at 0.044 inch, and Verona pairs a smaller 6 colour palette with the same 25-Year Fade Resistance Richmond carries. Does Kaycan make vertical siding?

Yes, three lines of it, and we stock all three. Board and Batten Vertical is the widest palette at 17 colours in a 0.050 inch heavy gauge panel. D5 Vertical runs 12 colours, and DaVinci adds another 8, for 25 distinct vertical colours in total. Vertical panels carry the same Limited Lifetime Warranty as the horizontal lines. What warranty does Kaycan provide on vinyl siding?

Every Kaycan vinyl siding line we stock carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Two of them add explicit fade coverage on top: Richmond and the Verona Collection both carry 25-Year Fade Resistance. On the aluminum side LYNX is warranted 25 years on finish and 50 years on product, with the product warranty requiring registration by the final customer, so tell the homeowner. Alu-Composite S-100 carries a 20-Year Finish Warranty on its PVDF KYNAR 500 coating. Full warranty documentation is available on request.

Where are Kaycan products manufactured?

Kaycan manufactures its core vinyl and aluminum products in Canada. The company started in 1974 in Pointe-Claire, Quebec making aluminum siding and trims, and did not begin vinyl manufacturing until 1987, which is why the aluminum side of the catalogue is not an afterthought. Canadian manufacturing means the products are developed and tested against Canadian freeze thaw cycling, UV exposure and snow load rather than adapted from milder markets.

What types of products does Kaycan manufacture?

Kaycan covers the full exterior envelope rather than siding alone.
