About Mitten Oregon Pride 40 Series Vinyl Siding

Oregon Pride vinyl siding is a .040 in. nominal panel with a subtle painted cedar texture and a low-gloss finish. It is a traditional wood grain vinyl siding, lighter than Highland, and it covers two jobs Highland does not: a Double 4 in. Dutchlap and a Double 5 in. Vertical.

There are four profiles. Double 4 in. Horizontal and Double 4 in. Dutchlap are both 8 in. panels, 12 ft. 6 in. long, 24 to a carton. Double 4.5 in. Dutchlap is a 9 in. panel at 12 ft. 1 in., 22 to a carton. Double 5 in. Vertical is a 10 in. panel, 12 ft. long and 20 to a carton, installed up and down instead of across. Every carton covers 200 sq. ft.

All 14 colours sit in one natural standard group. There is no premium tier. Every colour comes in Double 4 in. Horizontal and Double 4.5 in. Dutchlap. The Double 4 in. Dutchlap comes in eight: Frost, Bone, Cypress, Stratus, Flagstone, Brownstone, Hearthstone and Nickel. The vertical panel comes in five: Frost, Bone, Stratus, Brownstone and Hearthstone. Check the colour and profile pair before you order.

The three horizontal profiles are rated to 140 mph (225 km/h) windload; the spec sheet gives no windload figure for the vertical panel. The siding holds CCMC Acceptance No. 06419L. Panels can move up to 3/8 in. with temperature, so leave 1/4 in. at openings and channel stops (3/8 in. below 40°F) and keep about 1/32 in. of play under each nail head.
