Mitten Shutters are custom-sized vinyl exterior shutters for Canadian homes. Available in Louvered and Raised Panel profiles, these shutters use Staytru colour technology to maintain their colour in all weather without ever needing paint or staining. Six colours, custom sizing to the nearest ¼", and a Lifetime Limited Warranty make them a practical, long-lasting accent for any home exterior.

Installation Guide

IMPORTANT — Drill a ¼" (6mm) pilot hole in the shutter at each mounting location before inserting any screw.
STEP 1 — Place the shutter in the desired position on the wall. Locate 6 places on the wall to drill and mark the locations of the holes on the shutter.
STEP 2 — Place the shutter horizontally. Drill the 6 marked holes using a ¼" diameter drill bit.
STEP 3 — Place the shutter back in the desired position. Use the drilled holes as a guide to drill into the wall. Fasten the shutter using the 6 screws supplied, using a screwdriver. The screws must apply light pressure on the shutters — do not screw them too deeply.
