The Alum-A-Pole Scaffolding System is the professional pole staging solution for siding contractors and exterior renovators. Developed by Alum-A-Pole Corporation in Scranton, PA, the system has over 1,000,000 poles in use worldwide and is OSHA recognized. The complete system is built around special structural aluminum poles — available in 6', 12', 18', and 24' lengths — that connect with Alum-A-Joints for working heights up to 50 ft. The Alum-A-Brace secures each pole to the building, and the Pro-Jack telescoping bracket holds the work platform at the correct height. The Alum-A-Scaff plank (OSHA recognized, No-Snow Decking™, 2-man rated) bridges between jacks to form the work platform, while the Saf-T-Net catches falling tools and materials. The system is lab tested in excess of 5,000 lbs and has a maximum allowable working load of 500 lbs. All components are distributed in Canada through Mitten Building Products.
