Restoration Millwork® Cortex Hidden Fastening System
The Restoration Millwork® Cortex Hidden Fastening System by CertainTeed is the professional finishing solution for PVC trim installations that demand a clean, seamless look. Each package contains screws, matching cellular PVC plugs, and setting tools — the plugs snap over screw heads and blend into the trim face, eliminating visible fasteners without any paint touch-up. Available in Smooth and Wood Grain plug finishes to match the trim face, with 2" screws for 3/4" (1×) trim and 2¾" screws for 5/4" trim. Choose 250 LF contractor packs or 50 LF starter packs. Replacement plug packs (40 LF) are also available. Compatible with all Restoration Millwork® PVC trim products.

Installation Guide
Use 2" screws for 3/4" (1×) trim boards; use 2¾" screws for 5/4" trim
Drive screw flush, then use the setting tool to snap plug over screw head
Plugs are available separately (40 LF packs) for repairs or additions
Use PVC cement (Extreme PVC Trim Welder® or Partite® Adhesive) for mitre and scarf joints
Remove protective film from trim boards after installation to avoid adhesive residue
