Mitten M-Series Aluminum makes it easy to dress up any home or light commercial building with a coordinated system of soffit, fascia, and drainage products. The Quad 4 Aluminum Soffit — available in solid and vented versions — delivers a clean 16" panel profile with 5.16 sq.in. of net free air intake per linear foot on the vented option. Smooth and ribbed fascia in four widths, heavy-gauge trim coil, gutter coil, downspouts, and elbows complete the system. All products are available in 13 colours specifically selected to match or complement the full Mitten vinyl siding palette.

Installation Guide

Ensure all framing, fascia boards, and soffit nailing surfaces are level and secure before installation.
Install J-channel along the wall and fascia perimeter first to receive soffit panel edges.
Slide soffit panels into J-channel from one side; fasten through slots with aluminum nails or screws — do not over-drive fasteners; leave room for thermal expansion.
For vented soffit: position the vented panels evenly across the soffit run for balanced airflow. Maintain a minimum 1:150 net free ventilation ratio per local building code.
Fascia: remove old wood fascia or apply directly over existing material if sound. Overlap joints by minimum 1" and stagger from soffit joints.
Trim Coil: use a brake to form site-cut trim pieces. Cut with snips; never use a saw (leaves sharp burrs). Overlap trim coil joints minimum ½".
Gutter Coil: fabricate seamless gutters on site using a gutter machine. Slope gutters minimum ⅛" per foot toward downspout outlets.
Downspouts and elbows: secure downspouts to wall with straps every 6 ft maximum. Keep bottom of downspout minimum 6" above grade.
Avoid contact between aluminum and dissimilar metals (copper, iron) to prevent galvanic corrosion — use aluminum or stainless fasteners throughout.
Flagstone colour is available in Eastern Canada only. 8" fascia is Eastern Canada only; 8.5" fascia is Western Canada only.
