U-Snap is Kaycan's white-only vinyl eavestrough. It is a short kit: gutter, joint connector, one corner for inside and outside, hanger, drop outlet and end cap, with a ribbed downspout. Joints are cemented into one piece, the drop outlet takes up expansion, and the parts cut with a hacksaw, which makes it a practical DIY job.
U-Snap is the simple one in Kaycan's vinyl rainware range. It comes in white only, takes a single downspout style (ribbed), and the gutter run is built from six parts: the 10' gutter (U01701), joint connector (U02701), corner (U04701), hanger (U06701), drop outlet (U11721) and end cap (U08701). The same corner piece handles inside and outside corners. If the fascia and trim are white and nobody is asking for colour, that short list keeps ordering and job-site sorting easy.
Assembly is cut, cement and snap. Gutter cuts with a hacksaw, and the joints are welded with Plastmo cement, so there are no compression seals and the finished run behaves as one piece. Lightly sand the faces first and work at 32°F or warmer; the cement sets in about 30 seconds and one 5 fl. oz. tube does roughly 100 ft. The drop outlet is never cemented. The gutter slides 3 1/2" into it, and that free joint is what lets the run expand and contract.
Layout follows Kaycan's guide: hangers every 24", a slope of 1/4" per 10 ft. toward the outlet, no hanger closer than 12" to a corner, and cemented fittings kept at least 2" from any bracket. The reinforced rim keeps the gutter straight, and the heavy-duty brackets are built to carry ice and snow. Solid vinyl will not rust, dent or peel, and acid rain, salty air and leaf acid do not affect it.
The downspout side uses Kaycan's ribbed parts: 10' downspout (K150), elbow (K130), connector (K210), bracket (K140) and a swing-up outlet (K180) that lifts out of the way for mowing. Downspouts and elbows are not cemented, so they come apart for cleaning or painting. Send us your total run length and number of downspouts and we will quote the full kit.
