Hover Pro is Alu-Rex's floating continuous hanger with a dual-layer gutter guard built in. It clips onto a hemmed-back gutter and fastens to the fascia without puncturing the gutter, so the gutter can expand and contract with the temperature. It keeps out pine needles, drains 40.6 in. of water per hour per linear foot on a 5 in. gutter, and carries lifetime clog-free, sturdiness and manufacturing warranties.
Hover Pro solves a problem most people never think about: a gutter screwed tight to the house cannot move. Aluminum grows and shrinks with the temperature, and on a long run pinned in place by screws through its back, that movement ends up as kinks and as leaks around the screw holes and seams. Hover Pro holds the gutter without puncturing it. It clips onto a hemmed back formed into the gutter, and it is fastened to the fascia through its own fastening zone above the gutter, so the gutter hangs from the hanger rather than being screwed to the wall. Alu-Rex calls this Floating technology, and it lets the gutter expand and contract without an expansion joint.
The guard on top is the same dual-layer aluminum as DoublePro: 7/64 inch micro-perforations over offset oblong slots, which keep out pine needles and fine debris while the suction between the two sheets moves water through. It drains 40.6 inches of water per hour per linear foot on a 5 inch gutter and 49.2 inches on a 6 inch gutter. The current specification sheet rates it at 438 lb per linear foot, and Alu-Rex's Spring-Back design spreads that load along the whole length so the gutter does not distort.
Hover Pro needs a gutter with a hemmed back, 3/8 inch wide and 1/4 to 5/16 inch high, formed on the gutter machine when the gutter is made. That makes it a new-gutter product for seamless eavestrough installers. It carries the same lifetime clog-free, sturdiness and manufacturing warranties as DoublePro, coniferous areas included.
